a fundraiser supporting the performing arts at Denny International Middle School and Chief Sealth High School
What is a Rent Party?
Originating in Harlem during the 1920’s, Rent Parties were events where neighbors came together to raise money for rent by throwing a big party, and they played a part in the growth of jazz culture in the early 20th-century.
Inspired by this tradition, we are hosting our own Rent Party with multiple musical acts, refreshments, and our student Jazz Combos.
There is no need to purchase tickets, entrance is by donation but you can help us plan for our food & drink needs and get a jump on our fundraising by registering/donating to this event. Questions? email us at RentParty@DSPAboosters.org
